Description
Floating personal distress beacon with digital display and EPIRB functionality.
A Digital Screen
The display shows beacon status updates, GPS coordinates, battery charge information and the distress confirmation message (EPIRB).
New Return Link Service (RLS) function
The Units ACR RESQLINK VIEW with EPIRB confirms to the user that his beacon's emergency distress message has been received and that his position has been detected. The EPIRB works by sending a signal back via the Cospas Sarsat satellite network to confirm to the beacon user that a beacon's distress message has been received and its location has been detected. User confirmation is clearly indicated by a flashing blue light and a corresponding confirmation message on the digital display.
